Well, I've always been a daydreamer. I've always wanted to be something I'm not. Something magical, mythical. A gorgeous mermaid lying on the beach, a gothic witch on her broomstick, or a strong elven female warrior riding her giant dragon. I've always dreamt of living in another era, wearing medieval clothes and braiding with flowers my long long ginger hair (it's obvious i'm not a natural redhead,[why gods?why?]). It's hard though, living like this, 'cause reality hits you in the face with the ugly truth. Even though when we grow up we stop believing in fairytales, sometimes it's good to enhance our inner childish side. The one that reminds us that magic is all around us. Eventually, at the end of the day, "all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
So I made a promise to myself that I'll never forget to follow my dreams, be weird and geeky. Thanks to my dear loved ones I managed to do my first cosplay for Tauriel (I know she's not in the hobbit books,but she's a badass redhead so.. ), and for the first time I felt like myself. I know I'm not the right type of girl to model or so, but I wanted so badly to bring to life my dreamy fairytale. So I proudly represent you my achievement. "May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks.”
